Research study looking for young people with gay or lesbian parent/s

Do you identify as lesbian or gay? Do you have children between the ages of 13 - 24 years old? If so, please read on!

Very little is written from the young person’s perspective, and this study aims to use group discussions and individual interviews to explore young people’s day-to-day experiences. Discussions will be very much led by the young people themselves, and will take place during August and October at the University of East London or at a location convenient for you. 

I am studying clinical psychology at the University of East London, and this research forms part of my studies. I have an open view on what families look like. Confidentiality is ensured. If you think your child might be interested in becoming involved and would like more information please contact me on the details below. If your child is under 18 years old then you will be required to agree to their participation. I can reimburse travel expenses and I am offering a £5 voucher for taking part.
