The Eddie Surman Trust & Positiveline
The Eddie Surman Trust was founded in 1996, following the death of Eddie Surman, to offer help and support to HIV positive people, especially those who were depressed or suicidal because of their diagnosis. (further info can be found on our website @ www.eddiesurmantrust.org.uk)
All of our volunteers are themselves HIV positive and we feel that helps to reassure our callers.
Funded entirely by voluntary donations, our nationwide free-phone helpline covers the entire UK and can offer help and advice on all areas to do with living with HIV. We also operate and support The Midmonth Group (formerly at UKC) a monthly social club for HIV positive gay men. Please call Peter on 07939-563317 for more information.
Positiveline is open every day of the week throughout the year and we are open: Monday to Friday 11am until 10pm and at the weekends 4pm until 10pm.
The helpline number is 0800-1696806
