Pan-London approach
The Government is considering options to provide powers and responsibility for Public Health across London not just the individual boroughs. This might include putting the newly formed London Health Improvement Board (LHIB) on a statutory footing. This means the Mayor of London would be allowed to deliver city-wide action on behalf of the LHIB. Department of Health consultation
